Daily Announcements


**6th graders interested in applying for Yearbook Club, applications are due to Mrs. Viviani in the Learning Commons TODAY.  Club members will be announced Monday.  

**Cross Country intramurals will start next Tuesday after school until 5:00.  It is open to boys and girls from all grades.  You must have a parent-signed permission slip on file to participate – pick one up from your gym teacher or outside the office.  

**Picture Day is next Wednesday during PE classes.  Order forms were included in the packets we handed out at schedule pickup.  Extra forms are available outside the office.  Bring the order envelope with the payment enclosed on picture day and give it to the photographer, or parents can order online. 

**The Character Crew, which meets during Patriot Time, is looking to add new members. If you are interested in helping to promote the Patriot Way-Respect, Responsibility, Kindness, Honesty-we need you! This group is open to all grades, both boys and girls. We work on making lessons, posters, and contests to help make our school a better place for all students. Applications are available outside the main office or outside Mrs. Richardson’s room-718 in the 8th grade hallway. Applications are due by next Thursday, August 23. 

**Got leadership skills?  Think outside of the box?  Organizing is your thing?  Then Student Council could be the organization for you.  To become a member, pick up a STUCO application located outside of the office.  Complete the application with a teacher recommendation before next Friday, August 24.  Student Council is open to responsible 6th, 7th and 8th graders.  For more information, see Mrs. Wieher (420) or Mrs. Noto (406).  

**Auditions for the fall play "The Audition" will be held next Friday, August 24 after school in room 310.  If you are interested in auditioning, pick up a monologue from Ms. Stine in room 310.  The monologue needs to be memorized in order for you to audition.  Gentlemen, come and audition – we need you!  

**Students who join a club or after-school activity at Bryan will be charged an annual $20.00 activity fee, regardless of how many activities you participate in during the school year.  Parents can make payments through the online Web Store on the Francis Howell School District web site or you can bring in cash or a check to the office.  Activities that incur the fee are Yearbook Club, intramurals, Student Council, school plays, Robotics, jazz band, A Cappella choir, and NJHS.   

**The lunch menu for today is irish nachos and refried beans.  The breakfast menu for Monday is French toast sticks or chicken and biscuit with gravy.
