BRYAN STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS—TUESDAY, JANUARY 23, 2018

**Academic Zone will meet today after school until 4:15 in the 520 computer lab.  

**Robotics, Art Club and basketball intramurals will all meet today after school until 4:30.  

**FCA will meet tomorrow morning at 7:00 in the gym.  

**Tomorrow is a collaboration Wednesday.  School will be dismissed at 2:30.  

**STUCO members, remember to give Mrs. Noto or Mrs. Wieher your t-shirt size by tomorrow.

**NJHS Family Fun Night group will meet this Thursday morning at 7:30 in Mrs. Darr’s room.  The names of members are posted on google classroom.

**The next Truman Party is January 30 during Patriot Time. If you have successfully read 4 of this year’s Trumans you should receive an invitation from your ELA teacher this week. Stop by the Learning Commons to update your reading log or if you have questions.

**The deadline to order a yearbook is Friday.  All ordering is done online.  There is a link to order on Bryan’s website.

**Students interested in ordering an autographed book by author Jonathan Stokes, orders and money are due to the Learning Commons by Friday.  Mr. Stokes is coming to Bryan Middle School the morning of February 2. Stop by the Learning Commons if you have questions.

**Online registration for the 2018-19 school year ends Thursday at midnight.  Remember to sign up for 1st and 2nd semester courses.  If your registration shows 14 of 14 on the top left above where is says “required courses,” you have done it correctly.  We do not need a copy of the final printout.  Stop by the Guidance Office if you have questions. 

**The week of Feb. 5-9 is district-wide We Love to Code Week.  On Tuesday, Feb, 6, there will be a presentation by Mastercard Computer Coding experts in our Learning Commons each hour. This is geared toward 6th and 7th graders and emphasizes creating interest in computer coding.   6th and 7th grade Spectra and TIL students will be attending through their Spectra and TIL classes. There is room for several other students to attend this presentation each hour. If you are a 6th or 7th grader and would like to attend,  stop by the Learning Commons to sign up and get a permission slip.  In order to attend, you will miss a regular class period during the school day. Students MUST get a permission slip signed by the teacher of whatever class will be missed. Teachers do not have to allow students to miss class. The permission slip must be returned to the Learning Commons by Jan. 31.  

**The lunch menu for today is crispy chicken wrap and roasted carrots.  The breakfast menu for tomorrow is breakfast pizza or egg and cheese biscuit.
