Parent Pick Up / Drop Off

For parents dropping off their child in the morning, our doors will be open at 7:55 a.m.   Parents would  enter the parking lot and drive around the back of the building.  Our drop-off door is door #13 and there will be adult supervision from 7:55 - 8:13 a.m.  After 8:13 students need to be dropped off at the front of the building.  

For the afternoon parent pick-up, school is dismissed at 3:15 p.m. (Early-Release Wednesdays is 2:30 p.m.)  Parents should enter the parking lot and use the drive way around the back of the building.  If arriving before 3:10 safety cones will be used to stop traffic for PE classes that may be outside at the time.  Prior to the 3:15 dismissal time cars may pull forward to the appropriate door.  We have a pick-up area for each grade level and cars may travel forward using the right lane to pass, but cars must be in the left lane to pick-up a student.  8th grade pick-up is the first stop and is at door #14.   The 6th grade pick-up area is next at door #13.  And our final pick-up area is 7th grade at door #9.  Teachers will be on duty to assist in directing traffic.   

For families that live close enough for their children to walk, a walker’s permit must be signed and kept in the office.  Students that walk home will wait in the cafeteria and be dismissed once the buses have safely left the parking lot.
