Mr. Jeff Gruener - Principal

Mr. Jeff Gruener started in education in 1994.   He graduated from Southeast Missouri State University and taught Special Education in a middle school setting.  Mr. Gruener has his Master’s Degree from Northern Arizona University and  his Educational Specialists Degree from Lindenwood University.  Mr. Gruener is married to his wife, Tracy, and they have four children.  3 have graduated from Francis Howell schools and his youngest is currently a sophomore at Francis Howell High School.

Dr. Amy Ridling - Assistant Principal

Dr. Amy Ridling has been in public education since 2006. She graduated with her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia. She earned her masters in educational administration from Lindenwood University and graduated with her doctorate from Maryville University in December. Dr. Ridling taught for 10 years in the middle school math classroom before moving to a district leadership role. Dr. Ridling is married to her husband, Ben, and together they have two boys who both attend Francis Howell schools. 

Ryan Fall - Assistant Principal

Mr. Fall is entering his 13th year in education. He taught 4th and 5th grade at Independence Elementary. While teaching, he went participated in LEAP and ran the middle school Summer Success program for 4 years.  Mr. Fall went and became an assistant principal at Black Hawk Middle School in the Warren County RIII School District for the past 2 years. Mr. Fall has an undergraduate degree in elementary education from UMSL, a masters degree in school administration from Lindenwood, and is currently working on his educational specialist degree in superintendency. Mr. Fall’s wife is a FACS teacher at Ladue Middle school and he has 3 young boys who either already attend school in Howell or will when they are old enough. He is so excited to be back in Francis Howell and make a positive impact on the Bryan Community.
