It is truly an honor to join the Bryan Middle School community. As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, I look forward to getting to know our students and families, supporting our outstanding staff, celebrating the traditions that make Bryan special, and building on the strong sense of pride and belonging that defines our school.

Each day, our staff builds meaningful relationships with students, delivers engaging, high-quality instruction, and provides the individualized support students need to reach their full potential. We believe that academic success goes hand in hand with strong character, personal responsibility, and a commitment to doing one's best.

They are the foundation of our culture and will continue to guide us as we pursue high expectations for every student. Achieving those expectations takes all of us, and I am grateful for the partnership of our students, families, and staff as we work together to make this an outstanding school year.
I also encourage you to stay connected throughout the year. Read our eNews, check the school calendar, and visit us whenever opportunities arise. Most importantly, never hesitate to reach out to a teacher, counselor, or administrator with questions or concerns. Open communication between home and school is essential to a strong partnership, and together we can provide the support every child needs to grow and thrive.

As a District focused on continuous improvement, each of our 23 schools develops a site-based school improvement plan every year. The plan outlines the goals and actions the building plans to take throughout the year to improve various areas of performance.
A pyramid of intervention is a tiered approach to prevention and intervention strategies to support students both academically and behaviorally. The pyramid uses a variety of strategies and techniques to help all students stay on the right track. The foundation of the pyramid offers Tier 1 supports for all students. Tier 2 interventions provide additional support for smaller groups of students who need more targeted help. Tier 3 provides the most intensive supports for individual students when Tier 1 and 2 interventions have been unsuccessful. Our schools review and update their pyramid on a regular basis to ensure new strategies are incorporated and all are aligned with best practice.
